Wait I just realised that in the previous episode people that were eaten didn't return 😨
That is dark...
Splashmon came and went, so many memories from Xros Wars... in any case, I was expecting a battle to the death but Blacktailmon appearing out of nowhere caught me off guard!
So we can assume he can take away all problematic Digimons as long as the battle takes place in the pseudo-Digiworld? That's... interesting, and I'm even more interested about the letter to Hiro's dad.
Anyways, I hope that letter serves to move the plot forward, really curious about next week's episode and also I wonder when we're getting a new Ultra, but I'm gonna give a wild guess that the next Ultra will be Angoramon... he had a lot of moments to shine lately.
you mean ultimate, Ultra Digimon are 1 step beyond mega like Omnimon
I'm from south America, the Latin American dub calls Ultimates Ultras and I believe it's the same for the English dub, it's the wrong classification yes if we follow the Japanese names, but you can't kill some old habits.
Aren't we already halfway through? Where's the plot?
BlackTailmon Delivery system : You have a Rogue in your hands ? Just call for the Digital Field, we do the rest !
How... convenient?
Besting a Digimon by changing the environment with the Vital Bracelet. Well played and I am guessing BlackTailmon Uver can only appear when a use of a Digital World environment shift occurs. This cements him being the watcher of both worlds and will step in to take rogue Digimon back into the Digital World when needed. I wonder what was written in Hiro's letter to his dad?
Will soon find out give or take 10 eps or more
Splashmon makes everybody wet...
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
HYDROPHOBIA
A field change being actively used is refreshing, the only other time we saw that was the Zassoumon ep, usually it's just to disappear or protect the area where the fighting is.
Though once again, this ep feels like it's a few minutes too short, this series has a really bad problem with feeling like it needs a couple minutes more to proper expand, explain or just end the ep.
Symbare Angoramon getting 2 W's( w/ the help of canoweismon last week) on ulitimate digimons this and last week is awesome.
It looks like that Hiro gave up on his talk no jutsu but it also seems that digimon became more cruel and wild (Archnemon, Ajataramon, Vamdemon, Digitamamon, Splashmon).
Splahsmon is surely terrifying digimon. Maybe, some other Big-Death Stars will show up eventually.
Next time, Asuramon and Mushmon (?).
It is kinda scary the most reasonable digimon that has appeared in the last 6 episodes more or less was Ajatarmon... who offed herself....
You know, while I expect nothing from this to happen, It would be really interesting if Nijima at least cameod in a later episode asking Hiro and Kiyoshiro about the Digimon
If this was another type of digimon show, i could easily see Nijima and Yuuto (from the Ajatarmon episode) getting their own Digimon partner if only briefly in the final parts of the show
Kiyoshiro totally likes Niijima-san. :P
it's a bit crazy to think we aren't even on episode 30
it legit feels like it's been allot longer
Yes, because it was a delay that lasted 1 month ;)
While I have mixed feelings about the show not letting Angoramon digievolve despite the perfect chances these last 2 episodes, I really love how he has gotten the spotlight in these recent fights
Especially how he has won with strategy over raw power. ESPECIALLy in this episode
Eww digimon making people wet in wierdest way. Cool they found a way to beat him using the digiwatch.
I don't understand what they were freaking out about. These kinds of ghost stories are scary because you don't understand them, but they know the cause and the method, all the water drops signify is that splashmon is targeting them, which was already obvious. Idk, it might just be me but the scene of hiro feeling fear after reading that everyone disappears after the third splash felt so forced to me.
Congratulations Hiro, it took you 17 episodes too late for my taste, but you have finally realized most of urban legends one way or another are related to a Digimon
If anything it would be way stranger if they met a legend that was NOT related to a digimon
Somehow Splashmon managed to make other previous serial killer digimon like Arukenimon, Dgitamamon and (whoever was who killed professor Bokomon), look at least understandable and merciful in comparison
Sure they were monsters but at least they kinda killed for a semi understandable reason
Splashmon killing because a beautfy serum is so petty it makes him look worse in comparison
At least, Splashmon's victims are still alive while people who Digitamamon ate are dead.
logia type digimon worse enemy to fight.
Least he is not aquaman lvl of strong character
T-1000 the episode lol
So he literally eats their tears of fear
WOOOOW those episdode are so much scarier compared to the beginning, and I love it!
Thank God nobody died in this episode xD
woah, i thought the villain digimon will win this time
when he caught gammamon i was really shocked
especially because Gulus / Grus couldn't even try to somehow emerge to fight back
Next episode is gonna be about Slender man lezgooooo lol
I don't remember Slenderman being a Face-Stealer though...
Didn't change to Darkness mode his Tiger form
Well... He wasn't in danger of dying so I guess he had no reason to Dark Evolve...
Without the Xros Loader
They don't need Xros Loader outside of Xros wars' universe.
In Adventure 2020, Skull Knightmon evolved naturally without Deadly Axemon.
In reboot version 2020 Splashmon appear as Darkness mode
I remember being somewhat surprised by that and have been thinking back on that for about a month now for no real reason. DarkKnightmon was clearly designed with the Digixros mechanic in mind to the point where the similar traits he had to the other main Xroses hinted at the eventual reveal of his identities, so them bring back DarkKnightmon in Adventure 2020 as standard evolution was somewhat shocking. To be more precise, it's the fact they didn't doing something like making him the result of a jogress, SkullKnightmon absorbing the data of a DeadlyAxemon, or giving him an alternate design. The last option being the one the give me the most pause as we know this franchise is no stranger to giving alternate designs or versions of a Digimon to reflect the factors of it's existence, such as in the case Xros Wars' MetalGreymon, and I've begone questioning if I'd have preferred if they went that route.
Splashmon one of the Death Generals from Xros Wars series
It's pretty much the sailing point for this series as of Data Squad was like digi-cops and Appmon was about digital app or what not.
maybe for you, i actually like the different theme
I'll be honest, I'm kinda up and down with it myself. I am enjoying this series, despite its faults, but it is kinda weird that we're now likely past the halfway point and while there are signs of a plot, it's not given a big amount of focus yet. I'm used to Digimon shows taking a while to get to that point, but not this long.
I’ll admit I’d love to see more of The League Of Dark Data (which is what I call the black digimon) and I do say there’s definitely a connection with TLODD and Gulusgammamon but I can’t nick off this episode as interesting honestly I think the episodes are getting more intense like how splashmon was willing to turn fear ridden humans into skin cream that felt just as intense as Arukenimon! If they haven’t did what they did with the frozen ship there was a good chance Gulusgammamon would have come out so let’s be thankful and move forward with what they have next week!!!
I don't mind horror (I like it) but this was a filler ep when there's been no plot progression in several eps to need filler. I was hoping at least symbareangoramon would digivolve :-/
So far episodes are digimon(s) (monster(s)) of the week with lose connection to previous episodes.
Man Splashmon definitely gave me chill vibes and reminders of the first few episodes of "Choujin Sentai Jetman" with people getting killed or devoured with water or the "Hollow Man" movie.
